Halloween

Cade experienced his first Halloween party last night and despite sleeping through the entire event, he seemed to enjoy it. He dressed as a Jack-O-Lantern for the party, but earlier in the day he did his best conehead impersonation.

First Time Swimming

Cade traveled to Gettysburg, PA a couple of weeks ago for the wedding of one of his parents' friends. He enjoyed the trip and got to spend some quality time with his cousins Lily and Sullivan. He also went swimming for the first time in his young life.

Harvest Days

While Jess was on Maternity leave and I was on my 3 wk fall break we not only visited some state highpoints, but also visited family and friends in Illinois. These pictures are from that visit and specifically from Dwight, IL and their annual Havest Days. Prominent figures include Cousin Angie, Aunt Kathy, and James with Jack (Son of Jill and Dan). Jim, Emma, Uncle Mike, Aunt Bee, and Grandma Franey can all also be spotted.

Although Cade looks like he doesn't like Kathy (top pic) he is actually upset more by the fact that Kathy is trying to push her finger through one of his ears and out the other... After an hour of trying her limited success finally forced her to give up the quest.

Travel in the North

Cade enjoyed his trip up North and had the opporunity to meet a few folks that he otherwise wouldn't yet know. Paul Bunyon, Hayduke, and the Giant Cinnamon Roll were some of his favorites. And no, we had nothing to do with the carving in the Timm's Hill lookout tower, but it was pretty funny!

Highpoint Baby

Cade has now visited three state highpoints. He made the pilgrimage to the top of MI, WI, and MN during our trip to the North Woods. How many state high points have you visited? Mom is at 8, and Dad just hit 41... only 9 left but that includes Alaska! Anyways you came here to see Cade at his best and worst so without further ado... From the top 2 MI, 2 MN, 2 WI

Growing Baby

In case you were wondering Cade has been growing. Here are two pictures that were taken about 7 weeks apart. He's wearing the same outfit and sitting in the same boppy. But he is bigger... or at least that's what the camera man would have you believe.

Faces

Cade is becoming more animated every day. Smiles and giggles are almost routine occurences, but then again so are howls of agony and despair.
